Description

Advanced techniques for mining and interpreting MAST data,
including extensive coverage of contributory factor analysis.
This course is intended for public sector road safety professionals
familiar with STATS19 and the issues surrounding it, who have
practical experience of working with data and are already MAST
trained.

Delegates will delve into the most innovative techniques for gaining
invaluable insight through data which are only possible with MAST.
The potential and the difficulties of working with contributory factor
data will be covered in depth.

LOCATION & TRAVEL
The majority of RSA Training courses are run from our Banbury office base,
known to most as ‘The Farm’. An idyllic rural location it is a great setting in
which to learn away from the distractions of the office. We are just 10 mins
drive from J11 of the M40, 5 miles from Banbury Station.

TRAINING MATERIALS & FOLLOW-UP
Hand-outs are provided to ensure delegates leave this MAST Professional
training session with the information required to take their analytical work
further and pass on knowledge to colleagues. Upon completion all delegates
will receive a certificate of attendance

Course Tutor: Bruce Walton, RSA Technical and Analysis Director
Bruce created the analytical engine behind MAST Online, and has been mining road
safety data since 2002. With a varied background in data management, information
analysis and technical training, his experience and insight lifts the lid on intelligent
use of data for any road safety application.
